Silk floss tree flower, pink and yellow

This is the flower of a silk floss tree, developing subsequent to the mall in El Cajon, San Diego County, USA. The size is about 6 in/15 cm. The link to the Wikipedia post, in this paragraph, indicates that a tree might develop to 60 m/200 feet tall, and have many hundred pods. This tree was not that large. This is also acknowledged as a silk floss tree. I’m not certain if the green objects in the upper left are young fruit, or flower buds. I suspect the former.
I had originally identified this as kapok, Ceiba pentandra, but a commenter, below, says that it’s Ceiba speciosa), the silk floss tree.
God willing, I anticipate to post additional photos of this, or comparable trees, displaying other elements of them, over the subsequent couple of days.
Thanks for viewing. Larger sizes, displaying much more detail, are obtainable.
